OVER BLACK:

A CACKLING LAUGHTER.

SCULLY
What the hell was that?

a flashlight comes on (FADE UP?)

EXT. WOODS - NIGHT

SCULLY (con't)
Mulder! What are you doing?!

MULDER
I'm trying to scare you.

Scully looks at him... very annoyed.

SCULLY
Well you're not scaring me,
you're annoying me.

Skinner starts to walk toward them.

MULDER
I can't believe you got lost.

SKINNER
I can't believe you hid in
the back of my car!

MULDER
Well where were you going without me?

SCULLY
STOP! You guys are
acting like babies.

SKINNER
I'm sorry.

MULDER
Cars wrecked.

SKINNER
What?

MULDER
Your car.

Skinner and Scully look over to Skinner's car. Indeed, it is wrecked.

SKINNER
B-but... I-I... don't
understand. How did
that happen...

MULDER
Did you hit something?
Like that tree?

Scully stand quietly. Skinner looks at Scully... hmmm...

Then... an O.S. HOWL

SCULLY
Mulder! Shut up!

Beat.

MULDER
That wasn't me.

Scully looks at Mulder and Skinner when:

an O.S. CACKLE again.

Scully's eyes grow wider in fear.

SCULLY
Then what was that?!

She's frozen in fear. The something heavy drops behind her. Scully then runs very fast and hides behind Skinner.

the CACKLE agian.

SCULLY
What the hell is that?

MULDER
It looks like a witch...

SKINNER
A what?

The witch stands up. She is an ugly old hag... very classic witch look and all... long nose, wears black, ugly old hands... ect.

WITCH
He said I was a witch!

Mulder hids behind Skinner and Scully.

MULDER
(whispering in a fearful tone)
Tell me when it's over.

Skinner starts to back up as the witch comes closer.

SKINNER
(whispers to Scully)
Head for the car.

They keep backing up.

WITCH
Oh I don't think so!

The ZAP! She formed a purple glowing ball and throws it at Skinner's car... BOOM! The car is gone.

WITCH
Come here.

FADE OUT:

CUT TO:

INT. WITCH'S CABIN - NIGHT

FADE IN:

We see Scully, Skinner, and Mulder tied up around a pole in the middle of the cabin. There is a big pot over the fire. The witch is nowhere to be seen.

SKINNER
Well now... it's this great.

MULDER
It's not my fault. If
you guys wouldn't have been
messing around (coughs) Scully.
Then we would still have the ca-

SCULLY
ENOUGH!

MULDER
Fine.

SCULLY
There has to be a
way to untie this.

They squirm and wiggle trying to break out. Then:

WITCH
No, no. I have to eat,
I can't have you running
off now.

A long paniced beat.

MULDER
Did she say (beat; gaulp)
eat...?

The witch walks over to a table and gets out some stuff... she humms while she works.

MULDER
(wisper)
I'm out.

Mulder starts to untie Scully and Skinner.

The witch walks over to him.

WITCH
No, no.

ZAP! Mulder freezes were he is. Not literally frozen... he can talk... kinda, but his muscles are paralized.

MULDER
(to Scully and Skinner)
Help me.....

The witch moves him over to the other side of the cabin.

WITCH
I'll eat you first.

She pinches his cheeks.

MULDER
(panicked)
Skinner... Scully...
do something... she's
gonna eat me!...

TIME CUT TO:

INT. WITCH'S CABIN - NIGHT

WITCH
(calling to Mulder)
Almost ready!

ANGLE - SCULLY & SKINNER

SCULLY
(whispering to Skinner)
We have to do something.
She's going to eat Mulder.

SKINNER
(whispering)
Well, what can we do.
She'll freeze us if we
do anything.

SCULLY
Well do something. (beat)
We're next ya know.

SKINNER
Maybe if I pour water
on her she'll....

Scully gives him a look.

SKINNER
Ok, I'll try talking to her.

Skinner looks over to the witch.

SKINNER
Excuse me? Um...

WITCH
Shut up!

ZAP! Skinner can't talk anymore.

SCULLY
Great...

CUT TO:

EXT. OUTSIDE OF CABIN - NIGHT

Someone is lurking around the outside of the cabin. Could it be help?

CUT TO:

INT. CABIN - NIGHT

The witch is carring the paralized Mulder to be cooked. Mulder has little moans of help trying to come out.

WITCH
Time to go.

Then... BOOM!!! The door is KICKED in and in comes... Alex Krycek to the rescue!

Krycek pulls out his gun and shoots the old hag of a witch away! She turns to dust.

Mulder is finally able to move and Skinner is fianlly able to talk again.

ANGEL - MULDER & KRYCEK

they both untie Scully and Skinner.

MULDER
I guess I was wrong
about you Krycek.

KRYCEK
How's that?

MULDER
You're not as bad
as I thought you were

KRYCEK
You think I'm bad?
After all I've done
for you! You selfish
little -

WHACK!! Krycek punches Mulder to the floor!

MULDER
Ow...

Mulder lays on the floor in pain.

MULDER
Why'd you have to go
and do that for?

KRYCEK
Whacha gonna do?
Huh?

Mulder gets up and runs toward him.

CUT TO:

EXT. CABIN - NIGHT

ANGLE - SKINNER & SCULLY

are walking away from the cabin. We hear things crash as Mulder and Krycek continue to beat eachother.

SCULLY
Aren't they pathetic sometimes?

SKINNER
Oh yeah...

Skinner puts his arm around Scully as they walk off in the starlight. We still hear the crashing of Mulder and Krycek as we
