Work History:
We don't know for how long, but it was more than likely recently that Buddy was bugged by the government to be a spy dog. He had a bug in his ear, it was discovered by Shannon McMahon in 7x11 "Spy Dogs". Buddy has been genetically altered for ideal performance in Operation Spy Dog, which is why he can understand human languages, and tries to talk back.

Lifestyle: Buddy enjoys lounging around the house all day, being cute, and chasing after tennis balls. Walks in the park are always enjoyed, especially when he goes with his best friend, John Doggett. Buddy has a strange way of understanding human languages, and sometimes he even tries to talk back to his human friends. Unfortunately for him, he hasn't mastered that talent.
